Sequence analyzing of Oestrus ovis in sheeps in Al-Diwaniyah province

A total of 364 head sheep were examine from fourteen region in Al- Diwaniyah province 224 positive to infestation and larvae collected sent the laboratory veterinary medicine, October 2021 March 2022 for both sexes. The rate Oestrus ovis study areas was 61.53%. Al-Dighara abattoir had highest (82.75%) Al-Salahia lowest (17.64%). DNA extraction sequencing phylogenetic analysis used identify (16S rRNA) gene, sequence recoded National Center Biotechnology (NCBI) with accession numbers (ON059972, ON059973, ON059974, ON059975, ON059976, ON059977, ON059978) Iraq O.ovis larvae. percentage homology identity between this gene another global registered NCBI (99–100%) Brazil Bosnia Herzegovina isolates, (97.17%) USA (96.17, 96.33, 96.68%) Brazil, Herzegovina, respectively.
